Welcome to the Nordic Archaeal Network website!
The Nordic Archaeal Network comprises a network of fourteen research groups working on diverse aspects of archaeal cell and molecular biology and virology in the Nordic research area (Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Iceland and Finland) and beyond (France, Germany and the UK).
Major network activities include annual two-day workshops and exchange visits to facilitate researcher training. The network also seeks to promote the development of archaeal research in the Baltic states (Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia) by offering financial support to Baltic scientists wishing to attend the Nordic Archaeal Network annual meetings.

The network is generously funded by NordForsk.
